INTRO

Aaron Young or Key West Waterman is an avid fisherman, spearfisherman, free diver, and the list goes on.  Growing up in Central Florida he now lives in Key West where he has spent time running charters, commercial fishing, and is a popular YouTuber where he shares is adventures, knowledge, and experience.   The photos below will  direct you to his KOBO specific videos.
 

Aaron has used a several electric reels over his career and has thoroughly enjoyed his KOBO Power Reel.  Whether he is commercial fishing for grouper or daytime sword fishing he found our feature set to be a benefit - distance in feet, speed in feet per minute, line tension in pounds, and smart motor feature.

The KOBO Power Reel has swappable spools.  This allows for versatility if Aaron is grouper fishing and then decides to swordfish.  In under a minute he can swap spools to change out the line to either keep is sword line fresh or switch to a different pound line.

One of the most novel feature is our digital drag display.  This shows how much tension is in the line in real-time.  This allows for precise hook sets while driving the hook and fine tune adjustments during the fight!
